Loretha: When Diabetes hit me, it was a surprise

Greg: I didn’t have a clue what is was

Loretha: I knew the next thing was going to be Insulin.

Greg: I have to start doing injections.

Loretha: That’s the fear that you have.

Greg: I felt I failed

Loretha: Certainly I did not want Diabetes to sneak up on me. I wanted to be around awhile.

Greg: Now, I wish I would have started Insulin earlier.

Loretha: There’s something that you can do and you’re not alone on the journey because I‘m on it with you.

Greg: The doctor came in and he said to me you’re a diabetic.

Loretha: They were very direct with me in telling me.

Greg: You figure it’s the end of the road.

Loretha: I did not think I was a candidate because I was not overweight.

Greg: It was shocking. Insulin is a big fear for people.

Loretha: It was terrifying to me

Greg: The normal reaction is: “I’m not there yet” “How fare are you? Are you five feet, ten feet? And so if the insulin is the tool that you need that’s the main thing.
